Exigent Drone Mutaplasmide

Exigent Drone Mutaplasmid

A few days ago I found one of the Exigent Drone mutaplasmide in an Abyss site for the first time. This was a good opportunity to take a closer look at them.

The Exigent Drone Mutaplasmids can be found in the Abyss sites of EVE Online. They change the properties of the objects to which they are applied. For all drone sizes (Scout, Medium, Large, Sentry) there is a corresponding mutaplasmide that changes the randomly given properties.

Here, the mutaplasmids follow the already known nomenclature reflecting size and type:

Exigent [size] Drone [attribute] Mutaplasmid

.
Each mutaplasmid changes at least one attribute to positive and an additional 1-2 attributes randomly to +15% positive or -30% negative

CCP has also provided the fighter support units and especially the drone damage amplifiers with mutaplasmids. For T2, a maximum of 20.5% (as of November) can be achieved in this way.

A few thoughts about this:
CCP is expanding the dungeon content of EVE Online. That is quite good. Early on, the Gila established itself as an almost perfect ship for the Abyss. An interim patch that changed the aggro mechanics had softened this position again somewhat. With the Exigent Drone Mutaplasmides, however, the Gila’s position is strengthened again.
Especially the boost that a T2 module or even a faction or officer module gets is pretty hefty.
My personal experience is that drone ships are already pretty good in both PVP and PVE.

Note: The original table can be found in the EVE University Wiki. and Mutaplasmide.space These is a good references for all about EVE Online that you should definitely bookmark.
