Wow, the first week of EVE went by pretty fast and I was mostly busy with organisational things. It’s really unbelievable how much rubbish can accumulate in EVE Online, and I don’t just mean items and spaceships…
Sometimes things turn out differently than you think, and often that’s just as well. As recently as September, in an interview with Sendriss from the Keepthestar blog, I claimed wholeheartedly and with great conviction that I would remain in Faction Warfare. By the way, you can read the complete interview here: Interview with Jezaja: Once around the EvE world – keep the star (subaruu.de) A week later, however, these plans were obsolete because the GMVA alliance had decided to restructure and I took the opportunity to go my own way. A farewell with a laughing and a crying eye!

So now I leave good old friends behind, turn to good old friends and am now part of the Outfoxed alliance. who I’ve been hanging out with for years anyway.
So last week I left Faction Warfare, prophylactically did the Sisters of EVE Epic Arc and thus repaired my standing with the Caldari. It’s now -1.6, a good basis for being able to move freely anywhere. A quick check showed that my standing is still surprisingly good despite the reckless shooting in lowsec. I just have skill!
The “free movement” is also bitterly necessary. Over the last few years, I have accumulated a large number of items, ships and other junk. I have started to move everything to the nearest tradehub and handed it over to my trading alts in order to turn everything into ISK.
Some stations reached their limits, so that at the moment every sell order is really used up and I even sold some worthless things “immidiate” to get space in the hangar as quickly as possible.
Another official act was to reactivate my old corporation ‘turaagaq’. A complete standing reset and the cleaning up of corpuses and old contacts and assets that were “surprisingly” still lying around somewhere had to be organised and reorganised.
And so EVE already felt like a complete economic and logistics simulation in the first week.
For Abyss sites I have a Gila, a T3 Destroyer and a Frigate including a clone set, which I will run in the coming days.
If your Gila is still ugly grey, just comment below this blogpost. This month there are scope syndication skins for this very ship and despite all the prophecies of doom, they look very fine and noble once again.
